Angela Swatek

As Senior Director of Development, Angela leads the planning, strategy and execution of NYLCV and NYLCVEF’s fundraising activities, including grants, events, individual giving and corporations.  Angela previously worked at NYLCV as the Program Director from 2017-2020 and returned to the organization in 2023 to focus solely on fundraising and to help the organization grow strategically and sustainably by identifying new opportunities for funding. Angela has more than a decade of experience fundraising for nonprofit organizations of all sizes and securing gifts for conservation and social justice efforts. Previously, she has worked with the Montana Conservation Voters, Threshold Podcast and the Community Service Society of NY among others. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Philosophy from the University of Montana and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from SUNY Oneonta. In her free time you can find her hanging with her family, hiking in the woods or practicing yoga.
