Statement on Assemblymember Deborah Glick Not Seeking Re-election

Since first being elected to the New York State Assembly in 1990, Deborah Glick has fought tirelessly for her constituents and the ideals she holds dear. As chair – and long standing member – of the Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee, Assemblymember Glick has never wavered in her commitment to the environment, helping advance vital initiatives for zero waste, climate action, safe streets, wildlife preservation, and ecological protection. We thank Assemblymember Glick for her leadership and salute her dedication to a more sustainable future for the state and its residents, and we look forward to a successful final session for environmental policy.
