The New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) today praised Governor Kathy Hochul and NYSERDA for announcing new large-scale renewable energy and battery storage projects:
“Governor Hochul is using Climate Week to deliver more clean power for New Yorkers. New York needs more electricity, and solar, wind, and battery storage are the fastest and most affordable ways to get it onto the grid. These projects protect families from volatile fossil fuel price swings and will help keep our electric bills stable. We thank Governor Hochul and NYSERDA for keeping New York’s clean energy buildout moving, and we’ll keep pushing for more projects like these to invest in our energy future,” said Julie Tighe, President of the New York League of Conservation Voters.
