NYLCV congratulates Chris Halfnight on being named Chief Operating Officer and incoming CEO of Urban Green Council. Chris is one of the strongest voices out there advocating for a more sustainable New York City and his expertise in energy and policy make him the perfect fit to advance the organization’s critical mission of decarbonizing the city’s buildings.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to John Mandyck for his strong leadership over the course of seven years, during which time he was instrumental in getting LL97 passed and helping to ensure clean buildings are a top priority for NYC lawmakers. We wish him all the best in his retirement and we look forward to continuing our strong partnership with the Urban Green Council.
