NYLCV Gives Green Announces Endorsements for State Legislative and Local Races

The New York League of Conservation Voters Gives Green is proud to announce a new round of endorsements for the 2026 election cycle, recognizing a diverse group of environmental champions running for state legislative and local office across New York.

“These candidates understand that strong environmental leadership and strong communities go hand in hand,” said Julie Tighe, President of the New York League of Conservation Voters. “From protecting clean air and water to advancing clean energy, these leaders are prepared to meet the challenges facing New York and help build a healthier, more sustainable future for all.”

As the Trump Administration continues to undermine federal climate action and environmental protections, strong leadership in Albany is more important than ever. New York must continue advancing its climate goals, investing in resilient communities, and protecting the progress the state has made toward a cleaner and healthier future.
