Terry Clements

Terry Clements is running for re-election to the Westchester Board of Legislators representing District 11. ​Since being elected to the Westchester County Board of Legislators, she has supported numerous initiatives and programs aimed at promoting sustainability and addressing climate change. Under her leadership, the county now has a Climate Action Plan, aimed at developing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through forward looking initiatives. Her continued commitment to programs like the Climate Smart Communities Program, CompostED, and Planting Westchester has promoted sustainability throughout the community. During her tenure, she helped allocate funds for a waste reduction study to identify strategies to minimize waste generation and improve waste management practices, and launched the Clean Energy Accelerator Program to foster workforce development in the clean-energy sector. If re-elected, she will continue to coordinate with relevant organizations to further pro-environment initiatives.
