Stephen Clemens

Stephen Clemens is running for re-election as the Supervisor of Town of Sand Lake. As Town Supervisor, Clemens has prioritized environmental stewardship by leading a park enhancement and construction project aimed at conserving over 100 acres of green space and creating a municipal soccer and recreation complex. He also leads the community in an annual “Make Sand Lake Shine” spring cleanup to encourage residents to participate in preserving the environment. Beyond public service, Clemens also works in the solar industry, advancing clean energy initiatives across New York State to promote sustainable solutions. He is leading the town towards being a Climate Smart Community, having already achieved a 100% net-zero electric offset through our two solar arrays, converted all street lights to LEDS, and is currently working on replacing oil-fired boilers with a modern heat pump system at Town Hall. If re-elected Stephen Clemes is fully committed to advancing sustainable practices in his community.
