Shawn Lavin

Shawn Lavin is running for election for the Supervisor of the Town of Amherst. Lavin is the current Deputy Supervisor and has supported and advanced policies that reflect a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. He has worked to implement electric vehicle charging stations in all new mixed-use developments, supported the construction of solar farms, and advocated for their responsible placement. Lavin has led Amherst to take significant steps to reduce its carbon footprint by converting public buildings to LED lighting, supporting sustainability but also saving money. He has consistently supported investments that reduce long-term energy costs and greener infrastructure.
