Samantha Goetz

Samantha Goetz is running for re-election for Nassau County Legislator in District 18. Goetz is dedicated to collaborating with the Long Island Power Authority and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that Nassau County’s energy infrastructure needs are fully met. Goetz fully supports energy efficiency in buildings and calls it a “fundamental principle in Nassau County’s construction projects”. Goetz is also a supporter of the creation of pedestrian and bicycle pathways through the County’s Complete Streets initiative. Along with multiple other legislators, Goetz is deeply committed to safeguarding groundwater. She has supported numerous initiatives during her tenure in the legislature and has promised to continue to support initiatives that directly contribute to the protection of the county’s access to water. If re-elected, Samantha Goetz will continue to lead her district with a focus on preserving open spaces, protecting biodiversity, safeguarding natural resources, and replacing polluting septic tanks.
