Rebecca Sanin

Rebecca Sanin is running for re-election for the Suffolk County Legislature in District 16. As a member of the Environmental, Parks, and Agriculture Committee, Sanin has consistently supported clean water initiatives, farmland preservation, and environmental infrastructure. She supported the Water Quality Restoration Fund resolution, hosted a large Earth Day event to promote environmental stewardship, and worked closely with school districts to connect underserved communities to state and federal sustainability grants. Sanin has partnered with Long Island’s clean energy hub to bring resources to promote energy saving in both commercial and residential buildings. She is a strong proponent of the construction of solar panels on new commercial buildings and parking structures. Sanin also believes in the LI Greenway and in advancing the development of electric charging stations. If re-elected, she will continue to fight for pro-environmental efforts in Suffolk County.
