Kayla Knight

Kayla Knight is running for election to represent District 15 in the Nassau County Legislature. She is committed to protecting the natural environment in her county; updating key infrastructure and logistics strategies to ensure water quality and waste management efficacy; and investigating ways to implement clean energy effectively. She supports the County’s unanimously adopted NYS Climate Smart Communities Pledge, having expressed her commitment to uphold laws which grant loans for energy efficiency improvements among businesses, host community information sessions on the benefits of adopting solar power, and update the energy infrastructure across the county. If elected, Knight will take measured actions to improve sustainability and protect green spaces in Nassau County.
