Juleigh Chin

Juleigh Chin is running to represent District 9 in the Nassau County Legislature. As President of the Herricks School District Board of Education, she has advanced sustainability by upgrading school infrastructure to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and spread environmental awareness among students and staff. She also launched a bi-weekly farmers market at Northwell Health’s campus, providing access to fresh produce and sustainable food systems. If elected, she hopes to champion stronger regulations to protect Nassau’s sole-source aquifer and support the development of clean energy.
