John Giuffrè

John Giuffrè is running for re-election in the Nassau County Legislative District 8. During Giuffrè’s time in the county legislature, he has been a member of multiple important environmental efforts. Giuffrè worked closely with village officials in his district on protecting the county’s water. Giuffrè has also been an advocate of EV buses and running a cleaner public transportation system. Giuffrè firmly believes that offshore wind is a huge component of the state’s future; however stresses the importance of working with residents and environmental experts to ensure these processes are done correctly. As a Legislator, Giuffrè has also supported initiatives to preserve open space, including the Environmental Bond Act and access to open space. If reelected, John Giuffrè will continue to work for his residents with a conscious eye to the environmental needs of the county.
