Jenn Puja

Jenn Puja is running for election to represent District 5 in the Westchester Board of Legislators. In her former role as White Plains Councilmember, she advocated extensively for the city’s transition to renewable energy. Her successes include installing solar panel arrays on city garages, switching to LED lighting in those garages and in streetlights, and working with the sustainability committee on pollinator gardens. She has also supported switching city vehicles to electric, and is working both to improve the city’s walkability and encourage biking as a means of transportation. She is committed to improving the resiliency of surrounding areas against natural disasters, like supporting natural buffers against flooding and improving stormwater management systems. If elected, she will continue to prioritize renewable energy, public health and safety, and the advancement of parks and green spaces.
