Jenn Puja

Jenn Puja is running for election to represent District 5 in the Westchester Board of Legislators. In her current position as a White Plains Councilmember, she has advocated extensively for the city’s transition to renewable energy. Her successes include installing solar panel arrays on city garages, switching to LED lighting in those garages and in streetlights, working with the sustainability committee on pollinator gardens. Her efforts have contributed to White Plains attaining Silver status, the highest level of achievement under the Climate Smart Communities Program, in 2024. She has also supported switching city vehicles to electric, and is working both to improve the city’s walkability and encourage biking as a means of transportation. Puja is committed to improving the resiliency of surrounding areas against natural disasters, with plans to support natural buffers against flooding and improving stormwater management systems. If elected, she will continue to prioritize renewable energy, public health and safety, and the advancement of parks and green spaces.
