Erin Cassady-Dorion

Erin Cassady-Dorion is seeking reelection as Town Supervisor of Niskayuna. Under Cassady-Dorion’s leadership, Niskayuna secured the Bronze level Climate Smart Community certification and maintained its Tree City designation. Supervisor Cassady-Dorion also created a Parks Advisory Committee to ensure that the Town’s green spaces are maintained and serve the needs of diverse populations. Cassady-Dorion believes that decisions made at all levels must consider environmental impacts. Cassady-Dorion has also organized a town energy audit, worked to reduce the number of garbage trucks on the roads, explored grant opportunities for EV chargers, and advocated for funding for lead in drinking water testing. This work demonstrates Cassady-Dorion’s passion for protecting her community and the environment, and she looks forward to continuing these efforts once reelected.
