Erika Pierce

Erika Pierce is running for reelection for Westchester Board of Legislators representing District 2. Pierce is a long-term environmental activist who has pushed for an environmentally friendly agenda since first being elected in 2021. She has served as the Chair for the Board of Legislator’s Environment, Energy and Climate Committee and Chair of Public Works and Transportation. She is proud to have authored her “Upon Request” legislation, this piece of legislation aimed to reduce waste, specifically single use plastics. She has continued environmental education in her county in parks and supporting the Envirothon, and working with Bedford2030 on their Greenlights awards program. Her commitment to the environment in her county has been recognized by receiving a New York State Public Health Association Local Legislator of the Year Award.
