Erika Pierce

Erika Pierce is running for re-election to represent District 2 in the Westchester County Board of Legislators. Pierce is a long-time environmental activist. She has served as Chair for the Board of Legislators’ Environment, Energy, and Climate Committee and currently serves as Chair of Public Works and Transportation and as Vice Chair for the Parks and Environment Committee. Pierce has crafted legislation to support our environment, including the “Upon Request” legislation, which aims to reduce waste, particularly single-use plastics. She is committed to decarbonizing our infrastructure and addressing water quality issues from PFAS and to sewage overflow. If re-elected, she will continue to focus on waste reduction to ensure a clean, safe, and sustainable environment for Westchester.
