Chris Legg

Chris Legg is running for re-election as the Supervisor of Town of Skaneateles. Legg has had a lifelong interest in pro-environment activity, leading to his current passion for environmental conservation. As a town councilor and supervisor, he engaged residents and industry to construct a code that efficiently permits community and residential solar. Legg also led the town to convert to LED lamps, significantly reducing power consumption, and is currently leading a project to install insulation and cold climate air source heat pumps in a park building, and replace/install new LED streetlights to improve safety. Furthermore, Legg has supervised numerous initiatives to simplify environmental best practices for residents and direct waste from landfill disposal and implemented the separation of most recyclables from single-stream disposal. Chris Legg is committed to advocating for change and encouraging others to do so.
