Carrié Solages

Carrié Solages is running for re-election as a legislator for Nassau County’s 3rd district.

Carrié Solages is seeking re-election to the Nassau County Legislature District 3. During his tenure, he has advocated for creating more sustainable energy sources, beautifying county parks, and cleaning up county-owned waterways. Solages has organized numerous community cleanups. In collaboration with the Water Authority of Western Nassau County, he helped secure funding for capital projects improving water quality and public spaces in the district. In 2019, Solages approved bonding and an intermunicipal agreement to support a major pollution-reduction project. This initiative diverted sewage from the Long Beach sewer system to the County’s treatment facility at Bay Park, reducing contamination in Reynold’s Channel and the Western Bays. Looking ahead, Solages is focused on advancing renewable energy development, strengthening infrastructure, and improving the county’s resilience to environmental issues. If re-elected, he pledges to continue these efforts and further promote sustainability across the county.
