Brad Hoylman-Sigal

Brad Hoylman-Sigal is running for election for Manhattan Borough President. During his time in the New York State Senate, he has earned consecutive perfect scores from NYLCV and was named a 2023 Environmental Champion. As a dad, legislator, and New Yorker, Senator Hoylman-Sigal cares deeply about maintaining a clean and beautiful environment for future generations. Since he was first elected he has been particularly proud of his strong environmental legislative record. He began his role as the Ranking Member of the Environmental Conservation Committee, where he helped lead the Senate response to the Hoosick Falls PFAS water contamination incident. Since then, he passed a bill banning PFAS in food packaging and in firefighting foam. He has worked alongside NYLCV in the past, specifically in the passage of the Birds and Bees Protection Act in 2023, to create important protections for New York’s pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. Senator Hoylman-Sigal is dedicated to bringing the fight for the environment to the Borough Presidents office.
