Anant Nambiar

Anant Nambiar is running for Westchester Board of Legislators representing District 7. As a Town of Mamaroneck Councilman, he has supported the installation of solar panels on the Town-owned ice rink which has led to up to 10% savings on electric bills. He also helped maintain the town’s participation in Westchester Power’s Community Choice Aggregation program, and in 2024, the Town Board opted for the 100% renewable energy default supply for its residents. He is also proud of the public EV charging stations that have been installed around the Town, with more planned in the next 6 months. If elected, he will remain committed to renewable energy initiatives while also working to advance green transportation, resiliency, waste management, and overall sustainability.
