Marilyn Pimienta-Powers

Marilyn Pimienta-Powers joined Roux in 2019 as a Business Development Manager working in Roux’s affordable housing, energy, and public sector client development. Roux is an environmental consulting firm with fifteen offices nationally, headquartered in Islandia, New York.

Prior to Roux, Marilyn worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Xerox, Latham & Watkins, Acuris Global, as well as a venture-backed startup targeting higher education. Marilyn graduated with her Bachelors in Sociology from Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Marilyn joined the NYLCV Emerging Leaders’ committee prior to her board seat. What sets the League apart from other organizations is not only their pledge to present-day environmental concerns, but their commitment to tackling future issues that will have a lasting impact on New Yorkers and those beyond. Marilyn is an active member in the real estate community through her memberships in New York State Association for Affordable Housing, Urban Land Institute, where she serves on the NEXT committee, and the Long Island Association.
