Mary Frances Sabo

Mary Frances Sabo is running for Rensselaer County Legislator. In her time serving as Councilmember for the Town of North Greenbush she has shown a commitment to a pro-environment agenda. Her actions with the town board include, sponsoring a resolution that registered the town as a New York State Climate Smart community, securing a grant to install a Level 2 EV charger at North Greenbush town hall, and establishing an Open Space Committee which received funding to prepare a Natural Resources Inventory that sponsored and enacted a local law increasing greenspace in new developments in the town. Her work on the town board also includes making the town more resilient to the effects of flooding by establishing a floodplain management committee. Frances Sabo has displayed dedication to make transportation more climate friendly by advocating for better and cleaner pedestrian infrastructure specifically around State Route 4. If elected as Rensselaer County Legislator, Frances Sabo will continue to commit herself to making Rensselaer county more environmentally friendly.
