Marie Mahon

Marie Mahon is running for election for Supervisor of the Town of Orchard Park. In her campaign she has strongly advocated for climate friendly action and promised to partner with community groups and the NYSDEC to find ways to add sustainable initiatives into local planning. She hopes to incorporate solar power into buildings and encourage Living Roofs and Rooftop Gardens which can help cool buildings and reduce overall electric needs. Mahon has expressed her intent to expand the recycling program and reduce the pick up time from two weeks to one and aims to promote household composting and further reductions of food waste. If elected as Marie Mahon will support environmentally friendly initiatives.
