Phil Barrett

Phil Barrett is running for re-election as Town Supervisor of Clifton Park. In his first year in office, he initiated an Open Space Plan that has led to the permanent preservation of 2,000 acres of land. Under his leadership, the town has developed more than 18 miles of new trails and sidewalks and significantly expanded its parks and nature preserves. The Open Space, Trails, and Riverfront Committee has been a key partner in this work. Supervisor Barrett’s administration has also launched numerous initiatives to reduce energy use, protect vital natural resources, and expand recycling. If re-elected, he will continue to work on environmental initiatives, including renewable energy, waste management, and resiliency in Clifton Park.
