Michael Giangregorio

Michael Giangregorio is running for re-election in the Nassau County Legislature in District 12. During his time on the County Legislature, Giangregorio has both supported and endorsed important county initiatives, as well as participated in multiple community environmental events. Giangregorio is also an advocate of improving building energy efficiency, as all County buildings are designed to meet LEED standards, and through its capital plan, the County continuously evaluates and integrates energy efficiencies into existing infrastructure. He has approved funding for the development of pedestrian and bicycle pathways throughout the county as part of the Complete Streets initiative. Along with other members of the Legislature, Giangregorio is committed to protecting the source of all of Long Island’s drinking water. He supports multiple key initiatives that ensure this vital sole resource is protected. If re-elected Giangregorio will continue to support initiatives and projects that protect the county’s environmental concerns.
