Tony Gonçalves

Tony Gonçalves is running for re-election as Lewisboro Town Supervisor. As Supervisor, Gonçalves has secured over $35 million in funding to improve water quality through new sewer and septic districts and $3 million in grants to remove PFAS from the town’s water. He initiated Lewisboro’s first municipal electric vehicles and launched its first solar project. He expanded food scrap recycling to three locations and helped build a new pocket park, community trail, and phosphorus reduction projects in partnership with the East of Hudson Watershed Corporation. Lewisboro is also participating in a collaborative Climate Smart Communities project alongside eight other municipalities to complete greenhouse gas inventories and climate action plans. If re-elected, Gonçalves will continue to pursue full Climate Smart Community certification, expand renewable energy and clean water initiatives, and increase pedestrian safety and green space access across the town.
