Vivian McKenzie

Vivian McKenzie is running for re-election as Peekskill Mayor. As Mayor, McKenzie has secured grants for shoreline elevation and green infrastructure in River Green Park and led a multimillion-dollar renovation of parks like Pugsley Park and Fleischman Pier. Peekskill is a Climate Smart Community and is working toward higher NYSERDA Clean Energy Program certification, which will include a planned floating solar installation at the water treatment plant. If re-elected, McKenzie will continue to grow Peekskill’s clean energy capacity, invest in climate resilience, and ensure sustainable development that benefits all residents.
