Vedat Gashi

Vedet Gashi is running for re-election to the Westchester County Legislature in District 4. During his time in office, Gashi has spearheaded efforts to transition the Bee-Line Bus fleets to hybrid and electric vehicles and require environmental studies for County-funded projects. Under his leadership, District 4 has also invested in flood prevention and infrastructure repair and has refurbished community resources like Hilltop Hanover and Muscoot farm. If re-elected, Gashi will continue to move toward a fully electric bus fleet, improve infrastructure, reduce waste and emissions, and partner with local municipalities to advance a strong, pro-climate agenda.
