New Wildlife Area For Saratoga County

The state Department of Environmental Conservation has begun planning for the 570-acre Saratoga Sand Plains Wildlife Management area, Betsey Lowe, regional DEC director announced.

CDTA Continues To Green Albany Bus Fleet

The Capital District Transportation Authority, which serves the greater Albany metropolitan area, will receive $3.5 million in federal funds to help convert its bus fleet to run cleaner and cheaper.

In the nearly four decades since the federal Clean Water Act became law, the health of the Hudson River has taken a significant turn for the better, but significant challenges remain.
