Big Apple To Double Amount Of Bike Lanes

With more New Yorkers pedaling to work, the city's Department of Transportation plans to double its bike lanes.

Currently, there are 200 miles of lanes reserved for the two-wheelers, and the city will add 200 more. Despite community objections, the lanes are planned for the Lower and Upper East Sides.

Bicycle Lanes Go Green In Big Apple
