Andrew Cuomo, who is clearly taking his role as an enforcer of enviro laws seriously, has just created a new position in his office called Special Deputy Attorney General for Environmental Protection. He appointed Katherine Kennedy to the post. Kennedy is a long-time environmental advocate, and no doubt the best for the job.
