The New York League of Conservation Voters and our New York City Chapter invite you to join us at our annual Celebrating a Greener Skyline Cocktail Party on Tuesday, Dec. 2. We are delighted to honor Christopher O. Ward, executive director of the Port Authority, and Halcrow, the independent consulting firm that specializes in infrastructure development worldwide.

We are delighted to announce our two honorees: Christopher O. Ward, of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Halcrow, Inc. Our keynote speaker will be Christine C. Quinn, Speaker of the New York City Council.

Mr. Ward was appointed in May as the Executive Director of the Port Authority, after previously serving the organization as Chief of Planning and External Affairs. A former member of NYLCV's board of directors, Chris is a former Commissioner of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and was most recently Managing Director of The General Contractors Association.

Halcrow (www.halcrow.com) is an independent, global consulting firm specializing in planning, design and management services for infrastructure development worldwide. The firm's 8,000-plus employees operate from a network of more than 90 offices, working on projects in over 70 countries around the world. Michael Della Rocca is Halcrow's President.
