NYLCV NYC Chapter Chair Ken Fisher Scores of supporters turned out for our Earth Day fundraiser to support NYLCV's New York City Chapter. The event was hosted by Ken and Kirsten Fisher, along with Susan Whiting and Bruce Van Dusen. The event focused our drive to mobilize 100,000 Eco-Voters by 2009, when the city's leadership will change due to term limits.
Our goal is to ensure that the environment remains a top priority among the new crop of leaders. Ken also spoke about the lack of media coverage about political candidates' environmental plans, and how our task is to make sustainability a stronger voting issue.
