The New York League of Conservation Voters has released its annual environmental scorecard [1] for the state's two senators (one of whom happens to be a presidential contender) and congressional delegation.

The scorecard measures lawmakers' votes on environmental issues, which this year includes HR. 6 (the Energy Independence and Security Act), record funding for national parks and wildlife refuges, land acquisition and water quality and the adoption of a resolution calling for mandatory limits on global warming pollution and approval of a National Intelligence Estimate to deal with the security implications of climate change.

The scores appear in full after the jump, but the NYCLV was kind enough to provide the following information on the presidential hopefuls.

Barack Obama: 67 in 2007 (lifetime average of 86)

Hillary Clinton: 73 (lifetime average of 87)

John McCain: 0 (lifetime average of 24)

Obama and Clinton both missed four votes. McCain missed all 15 votes

Of the NY members of Congress, Republican Rep. Tom Reynolds got the lowest score (5), while three Democrats (Tim Bishop, Steve Israel and Carolyn Maloney) scored 100 percent.
