For more than a year, County Executive Andy Spano's Task Force on Global Warming has been working to develop a far-reaching environmental action plan for Westchester. Now the task force of more than a hundred professionals is ready to share its detailed short-term and long-term recommendations on how businesses, governments, schools and households can help to reduce global warming.
The task force will present these recommendations Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Manhattanville College, Reid Castle, 2900 Purchase Street, Purchase, New York.
