The NYLCV and its partner, the Campaign for New York's Future [0], handed out flyers at eight subway stops on Wednesday morning, urging straphangers to call Albany leaders to promote PlaNYC's congestion pricing component.
The flyers urged the riders to tell Albany leaders to act by July 16, the date the federal government has set for New York to approve congestion pricing to receive necessary funding.
The subway campaign coincides with the NYLCV's flyers sent to 350,000 [1] households, which urge voters to contact their representatives in order to pass this important plan. The mailers should hit residents' mailboxes Wednesday.
