NYLCV-endorsed Assemblymember Marc Molinaro (R-Tivoli) has introduced  legislation that aims to promote alternative fuel facilities. The bill (A.5264) would provide tax incentives for the construction, reconstruction, or acquisition of facilities that provide alternative fuels to New York customers. It's currently being reviewed by the Assembly Ways and Means Committee. Molinaro is a minority member of the assembly. Given that, we can only hope his bill beats the odds and secures some Democratic sponsorship.
