The New York League of Conservation Voters has just released our 2012-2013 Blueprint for a Greener New York City.
This policy agenda includes dozens of detailed recommendations that will help guide city leaders through the end of the current mayoral administration. The Blueprint covers a wide range of sustainability issues, from water quality and climate change to transportation and solid waste.
The Blueprint for a Greener New York City was developed by NYLCV's New York City Chapter in consultation with our green partner organizations from the five boroughs.
Importantly, the Blueprint also sets the foundation for NYLCV's next New York City Council Scorecard, which will be released next year (you can see the results of our 2010-2011 Scorecard here). Progress on our policy benchmarks will also factor into NYLCV's City Council endorsements next year.
