On Saturday July 18th, Governors Island will host it's second annual Water Day.

Float, ferry, paddle, row and splash your way to Governors Island for the second annual City of Water Day and hep recognize the potential, at least for one day, of our waterfront.

Highlights to include:

Delicious local food and live performances by local bands

Exciting free bird-watching and historic boart tours

Kayaking, sailing, fishing and biking--all free--along the water's edge

Children's activities including arts & crafts, rides and a kids' running race

And the City of Water Day Information Fair, where you can learn about what our Alliance Partners are doing on the Waterfront and find out how you can get involved, too.
