The Revolution in Environmental Finance

Event Date: 05/19/2009
6:00pm - 8:00pm

Environmental due diligence is becoming a critical risk management tool for banks where once it was viewed as an optional ethical screen. Even as the banking sector continues to cut jobs and cut budgets, many environmental risk teams are expanding . Banks are looking toward a future where carbon is more widely regulated, supply chains are globalized and harder to monitor, and commodities flail between record highs and record lows. In this panel we hear how Credit Suisse, Citigroup, PWC and others are navigating this new risk landscape.
