Why Leave Astoria?! is an organization that helps people become more active in their community through social and cultural events as well as charitable opportunities. They have approximately 3,000 members and over 100 different groups. 2-for-1 drink specials compliments of Why Leave Astoria?! and the Bizaare Ave Cafe. 2-for-1 drinks at Bizaare Ave. Cafe anytime with a WLA discount card. Be green by staying local! How do you get to October Queens Green Drinks at Bizaare Ave Cafe? Bizaare Ave Cafe 35-01 36th St. Long Island City, NY Bike! Use the Vernon Ave and/or 34th Ave bike lanes to get to 36th St and 35th Ave By Subway: N/W to 36th Ave or R to Steinway St What's Queens Green Drinks again? Very simply, it's an informal social gathering/networking event for folks that are environmentally minded. Come and we'll introduce you to some of the other like minded folks in and around Queens. If we're lucky (which is likely) we'll cross pollinate, make new friends, catch up with old ones, and maybe even sprout an idea or three. There is a different host each month selecting the venue of their choice.
