Center for an Urban Environment invites you to a plenary session of its Leadership Institute on Sustainability, "The Obama Effect: Opportunities in a New Administration."
The panel is the first in a series of four workshops designed to explore how the principles of sustainability can shape professional and organizational development in the nonprofit sector. The event is free and will take place at the Center for the Urban Environment at 168 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, Brooklyn.
This April workshop will explore the challenges of negotiating the current political landscape:
- When and where will the stimulus package impact the local nonprofit community
- What are the untapped opportunities for growth around us?
- Where are the major political shifts occurring in the next five years-and how can we best prepare our constituents and organizations for the future?
