The Long Island Young Nonprofit Professionals is a new group that caters to the unique needs of a small demographic. The meeting is being held for young nonprofit professionals on Long Island. You don't have to be employed in a not-for-profit setting to join the group, but the emphasis is on the common challenges of young people who work in social justice.

"Young" is subjective (no one will be checking IDs), but most members are in their 20s and 30s. In addition to group discussions, this meeting will help shape the future of the group by forming a mission statement and planning future events.

Location: The Long Island Jobs with Justice office, 390 Rabro Drive in Hauppauge.
