PROTECTING LONG ISLAND'S HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT NEEDS YOUR ACTION NOW!

WHAT: Join a FREE bus trip to Albany to Save Our Environmental Protection Fund (EPF). We'll meet with senior members of the Senate and Assembly to tell them to stop the Governor's anti-environment budget proposals. We may have only TWO WEEKS to change their minds and save the EPF.

WHY: Albany legislators say they still have not heard from enough EPF supporters. More of us must make this trip to get their support to restore the EPF and to remind them of the important role it plays in Long Island's healthy future before the final State budget is approved, probably in the next two weeks.

WHEN: Buses leave from Long Island early morning on Wednesday, March 24th

WHERE: Buses will be leaving from central locations in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties

WHO SHOULD COME: YOU should come! Local Long Island business people, not-for-profit organizations, farmers, anyone who cares about the environment, clean drinking water and open space in his or her community.
