Location: National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, NY, NY 10003. Environmental Advocates of New York & National Wildlife Federation is hosting a panel discussion. Come learn about the science and politics behind global climate change Hear up-to-the-minute news about efforts to address global warming at regional, national and global levels directly from two front-line environmental professionals. Larry Schweiger is the author of the recently published book, Last Chance: Preserving Life on Earth, which breaks down the science behind global climate change and takes us from Lake Erie to the icebergs of Greenland, and from Congress to America's classrooms and farmlands. He will sign copies of his book at the event. Rob Moore, executive director of Environmental Advocates of New York, is an expert on state and regional efforts to reduce the pollution that is changing our climate.
