Walk with neighbors, family and friends or bike to a celebration of the 40^th anniversary of Earth Day, a global recognition of the need for a more sustainable attitude toward the Earth.

Rain or shine the activities will transform Main Street, the Old Croton Aqueduct, the Waterfront and the Irvington Public Library into a high-energy, fun and thought-provoking "village green", offering free activities intended to keep all age groups entertained, educated, and engaged. The goal is to increase awareness of local sustainable behaviors.
