The wind is an abundant and free source of energy that has been harvested for centuries to provide small scale power. But many questions about its practicality and viability as a large scale energy source linger.

Can this vast resource be cheaply harnessed to meet the growing energy needs of New York State? Can wind take the leap and become a cornerstone of a clean energy future?

Join us at 8:00 a.m. on October 21, 2008 for a discussion about the future of wind power. 

Together with our co-host, New York University's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and its Institute for Civil Infrastructure Studies, we will set the stage for experts to lay out the facts about solar power.
