What environmental projects do you want in your neighborhood? Two day-long visioning sessions will give residents of Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside and Long Island City a chance to answer this question for themselves.  Residents' answers will guide plans to invest $7.9 in tree-planting and other community environmental projects over the next three years. 

This unusual opportunity is the result of a settlement between community groups and Con Edison after the 2006 power outage. The visioning sessions will include panel discussions, moderated breakout sessions and priority-setting activities. Both sessions are free and include breakfast and lunch.
